Join fellow Buckeyes for a family-friendly day of planetarium shows to celebrate a once-in-a-lifetime experience: the 2024 total solar eclipse!
During this special event, representatives of Ohio State’s astronomy department will guide audiences through interactive shows at the Arne Slettebak planetarium on the Columbus campus. You’ll learn what to expect during the eclipse and the science behind what you will see in the path of totality on April 8.
Parking
Complimentary garage parking is available on site.
FAQs
The sun, the Earth and the moon will align so that the moon blocks out the full disc of the sun, casting darkness along a path (the “path of totality”).
Parking at the Arps, Tuttle and Union South garages will be validated.
Please arrive at least ten minutes before your scheduled show.
