Buckeyes Care Donation Drive

Event description

As food insecurity continues to rise, Buckeyes are uniting for a day of service and fellowship to make a meaningful impact. You can get involved by participating in our food drive or signing up to volunteer.

How to get involved

• Donate items:
  • Drop off your non-perishable food donations at the Longaberger Alumni House between November 6 and December 13.
    Be sure to complete a brief form on-site to enter a drawing for an Ohio State swag bag. Donation bins will be located in the first-floor lobby.
• Volunteer on December 13:
  • Sign up for a 2-hour volunteer shift here to support the donation drive-thru, help sort items, or assist with deliveries to local nonprofit organizations.

• Chili with beans
• Canned tuna
• Canned vegetables
• Canned meat
• Soup with vegetables
• Peanut butter
• Canned fruit
• Rice
• Pasta
• Shampoo and conditioner
• Bar soap
• Toothpaste
• Body wash
• Toothbrushes (all ages)
• Deodorant (any)
