Join us for a presentation on our current knowledge of the physics of the rapidly expanding universe. Large scale spectroscopic surveys address this mystery as some unknown form of dark energy. Dr. Paul Martini, professor of astronomy, will describe recent and exciting results from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) that are challenging some long-held ideas about the nature of dark energy.
