Event description
Join us for a special matinee performance of Damn Yankees presented by The Ohio Light Opera, the resident professional company of The College of Wooster.
Based on Douglass Wallop’s 1954 novel The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant, this classic musical tells the story of middle-aged baseball fan Joe Boyd, who would give anything to see his beloved (and beleaguered) Senators beat the Yankees and win the pennant.
The lively score features favorites including “Heart,” “Shoeless Joe from Hannibal, Mo.,” “Whatever Lola Wants,” and “Those Were the Good Old Days.” More details about the production can be found on their website.
