OSURA: Waterman Farm Greenhouse and MALC Facility Tours

Event description

Join us at Waterman Farm for a tour of the:

• Controlled Environment Agriculture Research Complex (CEARC), a state-of-the-art greenhouse facility where horticultural crops including fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants are grown indoors.
• The new Multispecies Animal Learning Complex (MALC) and Dairy, a cutting-edge facility that houses large and small ruminants, equine, poultry, and swine, along with a 60-cow dairy featuring the latest in sustainable technology. 

After the tours, we’ll gather at the Rusty Bucket Restaurant on Lane Avenue for lunch on your own.
