Celebrate reading with other Buckeyes this summer and be entered to win cool prizes!
Program description
It’s time for the 2026 Summer Reading Bingo challenge! Join fellow bookish Buckeyes as you fill our latest bingo board and share recommendations and reviews. Readers earn an entry for each completed bingo line (diagonal, horizontal and vertical) for chances at exclusive Buckeye-themed prizes.
Here’s the deal:
- For each bingo line you get a chance to win Buckeye-themed prizes
- Free, all-digital, open to teens and adults
- Bingo board and tracker coming in May to your inbox
- Join our Facebook group to share recomendations and progress
Cost
This program is free and open to any teen or adult.
FAQs
Once you have completed reading a book, you can mark off up to two squares on your board. Each completed line (horizontal, vertical and diagonal) will earn one raffle entry, for a total of 12 possible raffle entries. The center space is “free”. You can also SKIP one category.
The reading challenge starts on June 1, 2026, and ends on August 31, 2026. Books should be started and completed during this time in order to count for squares in the challenge.
You may count up to two categories/squares per book.
The categories are designed to inspire you to try new things and be creative. They are not restrictive. Please choose books in the spirit of the category but read what works for your personal interpretation. Example, “Royal” might be about a king or queen, have royal blue on the cover or have the world “royal” in the title. The goal is to challenge yourself (but keep reading fun!)
You can submit your board electronically or via mail:

Yes, anyone can continue to register through June 30, 2026, and you will receive the digital download for the challenge.
Winners will be able to choose from a selection of Ohio State-themed prizes including reading accessories and other items!
The prize drawing will be held on September 15, 2026. Winners will be notified via email. Prizes will be mailed to the address submitted during registration, unless otherwise requested.
