Fisher College of Business Emergency Relief Fund
Fisher’s mission and dedication to creating principled leaders, even in the face of adversity, continues. Leadership requires a commitment to community and to social responsibility. This fund provides a source of support to help eligible students to pay for unforeseen expenses and to remove barriers to student and academic success. Should the need arise, the fund may also support social responsibility initiatives undertaken by the college in support of the community.
David E. and Tamara E. Harrison Diversity Scholarship Fund
Established February 22, 2024, with gifts from alumni and friends of the Max M. Fisher College of Business and matching funds as part of the Scarlet and Gray Advantage Endowed Matching Gift Program; provides one or more recruitment and retention scholarships to undergraduate students who are enrolled in the Max M. Fisher College of Business. Preference shall be given to candidates who are active members of student organizations recognized by the University that encourage open-minded exploration, risk-taking, and freedom of expression at the University. The donors desire that when awarding this scholarship, special consideration be given for students who have encountered or overcome substantial educational or economic obstacles. Experiential Learning Initiatives Fund
Through a diverse range of global academic and experiential programs, Fisher promotes and supports student participation in experiential business learning in and outside the classroom. This fund will support critical, action-based global learning experiences for graduate students including but not limited to Global Applied Projects (GAP), Business Labs, case competitions and corporate site visits
Joseph A. Alutto Global Leadership Fund
Established November 7, 2014, with gifts from friends and colleagues of Joseph A. Alutto, as part of the Joseph A. Alutto Global Leadership Initiative; used to provide undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Max M. Fisher College of Business with financial resources for global learning through scholarships, programs, and other opportunities to enable them to engage in critical, action-based learning experiences around the world.
Fisher Signature Program Fund
This fund supports the creation and enhancement of programs, curriculum and research in the areas of principled leadership, global awareness, and entrepreneurial/innovative thought at the Max M. Fisher College of Business. Funds will also be used for collaborative efforts among these hallmarks of the college, creating a distinct student experience.
