As Buckeyes, we're all interconnected
Hundreds of buckeyes are donated to the alumni association every year. Hear how they make it into the hands of visitors to the Longaberger Alumni House.

Robin Rasor-Thompson is the smiling face that greets you at the Longaberger Alumni House. As a member of the Guest Services team, one of Robin's favorite things is helping visitors find their lucky buckeye.
Those buckeye nuts are made even more special because of who they come from. Each year, alumni from all over the country donate hundreds of pounds of buckeyes. They often arrive still in their shells and need to be removed, dried out, washed and polished before landing in the bowls at the front desk of the alumni house.
When someone chooses their lucky buckeye, they know they’re part of something special – our Ohio State family. "As Buckeyes, everybody's interconnected. It's just a reminder of the great times they've had here," explains Robin.
Come visit the newly renovated Longaberger Alumni House to find your lucky buckeye and make yourself at home.
The Longaberger Alumni House is located at 2200 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, OH 43210.
