April 6 | Arrive At The Museum

Arrive at The National WWII Museum and check-in to the Higgins Hotel New Orleans, Curio Collection by Hilton. 

Showing of Beyond All Boundaries. Beyond All Boundaries is the perfect introduction to your time at The National WWII Museum. Narrated by Tom Hanks, this 4D cinematic journey will take you through the war that changed the world with archival footage and physical effects. 

Private Welcome Reception.

April 7 | Early Access Guided Tour / Out of the Vault Artifact Presentation

Breakfast at the Higgins Hotel

Private Early-Access Guided tour of Louisiana Memorial Pavilion, including The Herman and George R. Brown Salute to the Home Front, The Arsenal of Democracy and the D-Day Invasion of Normandy galleries.

Curator’s Collection “Out of the Vault” Museum Experience: Hosted by a Museum curator, this presentation will allow guests a behind-the-scenes look at Museum artifacts not currently on display.

Group lunch at The American Sector restaurant.

April 8 | US Freedom Pavilion / Campaigns Of Courage Touring

US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center & Final Mission: USS Tang Submarine Experience

Visit the US Freedom Pavilion, and join us aboard a simulation of the most successful submarine in World War II, the USS Tang. This experience will challenge you to relive her last epic battle and ponder the tactics and risks associated with underwater warfare.

Explore the museum’s most popular exhibit hall, Campaigns of Courage. During the two-hour experience through the Museum’s signature exhibits, an official Museum guide will walk you through the chronological narrative of each theater of combat, bringing to life the drama, sacrifices, personal stories, and strategies of America’s campaign to defeat the Axis powers and preserve freedom.

April 9 | Liberation Pavilion

Liberation Pavilion is the Museum’s final permanent exhibit hall exploring the end of World War II, the Holocaust, the immediate postwar years, and the war’s continuing impact today. The three-story Pavilion houses two floors of exhibit space featuring personal experiences, iconic imagery, impactful artifacts, and immersive settings, as well as a third-floor theater offering audiences a brand-new cinematic experience. Designed to be the capstone experience for Museum guests, Liberation Pavilion provides visitors to contemplate the joys, costs, and meaning of liberation and freedom.

Spend the afternoon at leisure prior to dinner and a VIP experience at Expressions of America, the Museum’s sound and light show featuring incredible music, stunning imagery, festive food and beverages, and 90-foot-tall projections.
