Houston: Buckeyes Giving Back at Books Between Kids

Event description

Join us at the Books Between Kids (BBK) warehouse to help them sort books on Saturday, February 28. BBK collects new and gently used children's books and delivers them to local schools and organizations.

They need our help to sort and get books ready to deliver for book celebrations at the schools, where ALL kids get to pick out 6 books to take home. BBK's mission is to put books into the hands of Houston children. For more information about this awesome organization, please go to their website.

Can't make it that day? You can still participate by donating any new or gently used children's books (PreK - 5th grade) or donate to their Amazon Wishlist. Please email me at Susan Swiger and I will pick up any donations. If you choose to donate through Amazon, please just let me know so I can make note of your participation.

Schedule

There are shifts from 9-11 a.m. and 12-2 p.m. This event is open to all including family (including kids 8 and up) and friends.
