Event description
Westbury Community Garden is a seven acre site with an outdoor learning pavilion, orchards, a butterfly garden with native plants, compost areas and a rainwater collection system.
Volunteering will include activities such as:
- Weeding of common areas
- Orchard maintenance
- Turning and sifting compost
- Butterfly Garden maintenance
- Pocket Prairie maintenance and/or planting
- Trash pickup
Snacks and water will be provided by the alumni club.
Note: You do not have to be a club member to participate.

Please RSVP at the link below so we will have an accurate count for snacks and water.
Additional Information
Please park on Dunlap Street and walk to the pavilion to sign in.
Closed toe shoes are required. We will be working outdoors and sun protection is recommended (sunscreen, hat, etc.).
Feel free to bring your own gardening gloves and/or hand tools. Westbury Community Garden will also have gloves and tools available to borrow.
