Welcome Message from the President

On behalf of the Asian & Pacific Islander Alumni Society Board, I want to extend a warm welcome to you. Our society was created to support, connect and uplift the entire Ohio State community including Asian and Pacific Islander (API) alumni, students and friends. As one of the newest alumni societies within the alumni association, we were formed through the dedication of volunteers who care deeply about strengthening the API community and beyond at Ohio State.

Our mission is to foster relationships, celebrate our identities and create meaningful opportunities for connection across generations of Buckeyes. We do this through cultural events, networking gatherings, student‑alumni mixers, service activities and collaborations with API student organizations on campus. While our focus is on the experiences and voices of Asian and Pacific Islander Buckeyes, our events and programs are open to all alumni and students who wish to engage, learn and build community with us.

As we grow, we will continue expanding opportunities for alumni to connect — both in person and virtually.
