Athens County Alumni Club - Scholarship

Scholarship

The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Athens County Scholarship Program is intended to recruit, provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding incoming freshmen, transfer students and undergraduates. The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Athens County coordinates the program.

Eligibility

The program provides scholarship awards as competitive, merit-based, recruitment scholarships. The list of standards for selection of this award are as follows:

  • Acceptance to The Ohio State University
  • Demonstrate academic merit
  • Demonstrate involvement in school and community activities
  • Resident of and/or attend high school in Athens County

Application

You should complete the Scholarship Application, available at the Guidance Office. Completion and submission of application can be submitted electronically to the Scholarship Committee at andymollica05@gmail.com or handwritten/typed and delivered personally or by US mail to:

If you are going to be an Ohio State varsity student athlete (even walk-on status), you may be eligible for the club scholarship award, but Ohio State Compliance must approve an award on a case-by-case basis.

Financial awards are made directly to the recipients to be used at their discretion for college and pre-college expenses. Proof of enrollment must be provided.
