Be a social ambassador for Ohio State!
The Ohio State University Social Buckeyes Program allows you to use your social media accounts to spread the word about all things Ohio State.
The Buckeye community — alumni, fans and friends — can connect their social media accounts to the Social Toaster platform to share content, visit relevant links and invite fellow Buckeyes to join. Each time you share, you can earn Social Buckeyes points and become eligible for great prizes!
Choose to share content from the Content Library or directly from an email to earn entries. New content may be emailed directly to you, but daily logins to see what’s new will also earn points.
How to earn prize entries
Check out the steps below and then go to buckeyes.socialtoaster.com to begin earning prize entries today!
1 Sign up
Sign up at buckeyes.socialtoaster.com.
2 Log in
Log in to Social Toaster each day to see the latest content.
3 Connect
Connect all of your social accounts (initially Facebook, X/Twitter, or LinkedIn; then Instagram or YouTube) to Social Buckeyes via the Social Toaster platform.
4 Like, follow, subscribe
Earn points for liking, following, or subscribing to OSUAA/Ohio State social accounts.
5 View or open, and share
Share a post from the Content Library, or via an email received from Social Buckeyes. You even earn points for opening the email.
6 Like and comment
Visit the Social Feed on Social Toaster to see all Ohio State social content and Retweet, Like or Comment.
7 Tag and hashtag
Write and publish a post or tweet through Social Toaster using #BuckeyeForLife or tagging Ohio State socials.
8 Encourage interaction
Earn points for each person that clicks on your shared link; retweets or likes your tweet; or likes or comments on your LinkedIn or Instagram post.
9 Recruit a Friend
Invite your friends to join using a unique link. If they accept, you will earn 100 points for each recruit.
10 Visit the OSUAA Website
Visit the alumni website from the Social Toaster platform.
