  • Join Next Chapter Book Club

    Next Chapter Book Club (NCBC) is a program of The Ohio State University’s Nisonger Center, a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. These book clubs promote literacy skills, social connections and community inclusion for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Clubs meet weekly for one hour in bookstores, cafes and libraries throughout Franklin County. Volunteers are needed to serve as co-facilitators.

  • Become a BAR volunteer

    The Buckeye Alumni Recruitment (BAR) program aims to connect Ohio State alumni and parents to recruitment activities within Undergraduate Admissions. BAR volunteers may represent the university at college fairs in their communities, serve on an in-person or virtual panel, assist with registration and interact with guests at local receptions and/or share a written testimonial.

    Support and work in partnership with 4-H professionals, extension staff, volunteers and members in conducting meaningful educational experiences and developing youth members’ life skills to reach their fullest potential.
