Mix pumpkin, butter, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, mace, evaporated milk, sugar, and eggs together. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Test by inserting a knife into the middle of pie – if it comes out clean, it is done.
