Start with the filling: In a large bowl mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Note: This is a dense dough so you may have to knead it a bit in order to make sure all the ingredients are incorporated. Place a piece of waxed paper onto a cookie sheet. Roll peanut butter dough into balls (1 teaspoon) and freeze. While the filling freezes make the chocolate outer cookie dough: In medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips and butter; cook and stir over very low heat until chips are melted and smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk; mix well. In medium bowl, combine flour, chocolate mixture and vanilla; mix well. Shape 1 tablespoon dough (use measuring spoon) around each peanut butter ball, covering completely. Place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cookies will be soft and appear shiny but will become firm as they cool. Remove from cookie sheet and cool. In small saucepan, combine baking bar and oil; cook and stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Drizzle over cookies. Place in mini cupcake papers. Store in tightly covered container. Buckeye Room Contest Winner Joyce has been a Buckeye Room member since July of 2015. She earned her MA (’85) and PhD (’87) in developmental psychology and her husband, Ross, earned his Ph.D. (’88) in resource economics from Ohio State. Pictured below are Joyce, Ross, and their two sons, Tristan and Carlton. Joyce put her own Buckeye spin on this recipe in the early ’80s and her two sons grew up making them ever since. Joyce’s biggest thrill has always been Script Ohio, and she and Ross couldn’t be more excited to attend the Fiesta Bowl this year!
