Bryce Isaac and Erica Kline
Job: Social Media, Athletics
Like most of us, Bryce Isaac and Erica Kline spend a lot of time on social media. But for them, it's a job.
Isaac and Kline are students on the athletics department’s social media team, with a healthy chunk of fall coverage dedicated to football. The duo ensures that Ohio State athletics accounts are loaded with photos, graphics, videos and stories. During game day, they're usually on the sidelines getting photos and content of the action on and off the field.
“I have a dream job,” said Kline, a marketing student in Ohio State's Fisher College of Business. “Being that close to the greatest football players in the country is amazing.
“Our (communications) team is so talented. The skills I’m learning are really going to help in the future.”
Kline and Isaac have also been chosen to work for FOX Sports this season, taking videos of touchdowns that were used as part of national coverage.
“I am able to apply a lot of the things I learn in the classroom directly to work,” said Isaac, a strategic communication major. “The Ohio State community has a lot of resources and a lot of people who want to help you. It’s really what you make of it.”
