Scholarship Support

Your support makes an even bigger difference.

The Ohio State University seeks to become the place where students can create a pathway for themselves to graduate without debt through a partnership involving student contributions, and financial, academic and extracurricular support. Ohio State will commit to providing undergraduate students with the financial and personal support to successfully complete their bachelor's degree, debt-free in four years. The long-term goal is that all undergraduate students who wish to graduate debt-free will have that option.

Ohio State is working with a group of donors who have generously stepped forward to kick-start the scholarship fundraising component of Scarlet & Gray Advantage with a $50 million match comprised of dollars from the University and dollars from donors. These funds will be used alongside university dollars to match gifts made to already established endowed scholarship funds or newly created scholarship funds. Gifts for new or existing endowed scholarships of $100,000 or more will qualify to be matched on a 1:1 basis. Contact Jenny Kirby at kirby.57@osu.edu to learn how you can get involved with the match.

Undergraduate students at all Ohio State campuses will be eligible to participate in Scarlet & Gray Advantage. Students typically will join the program as new first-year students and will serve students of varying income levels, both from Ohio and out of state. If you're looking for additional areas to support, we have opportunities of your choosing.
