Ally Lewis
Ally chose Ohio State because she liked the balance of high academics with the fun campus atmosphere.
HOMETOWN: Dayton, Ohio
CAMPUS: Columbus
MAJOR: Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering

Ally loves that she gets to do so many different activities here, like taking specific engineering classes while also enjoying a strong community of friends.
Ally has been fully supported by scholarships throughout her time at Ohio State, which has allowed her to immerse herself in leadership roles on campus. She appreciates that it has enabled her to spend more time on research, taking positions and working on her undergraduate thesis. She also had the opportunity to use her enrichment grant to go on an agricultural and sustainability study abroad trip in Panama over winter break.
Most recently, Ally worked a seven-month co-op with Cargill, and spent the summer interning with Nestlé, where she worked on the frozen meals team. Because of Ally’s co-op, she will be at Ohio State for a fifth year. She currently has two offers for a summer 2026 internship and after graduating in 2027, she is interested in pursuing a master's degree in food engineering while simultaneously working in the food industry for a company that prioritizes sustainability. She is thankful for the scholarship support that has allowed her to thrive here at Ohio State and beyond.
“Supporting students through scholarships allows us to have time to branch out beyond our classes to experience all Ohio State has to offer.”
