1. 25 Years of Hope Informed by Research
When the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research was founded in 1998, Stefanie might not have imagined how much would be accomplished 25 years later. She did know then that this was not only her fight, but a fight for all of us.
2. ‘Closer to my true self’: A star athlete turns mental wellness advocate
Harry Miller’s decision to leave football has changed his life. By opening up about his struggles with mental health, he’s impacting student-athletes everywhere.
3. Bill Lowrie ’66, gave constantly, in ways big and small
William G. Lowrie and his genuine support of Buckeyes earned him respect and appreciation wherever he went.
4. Impact in the making
As an enterprising scientist, Ratmir Timashev ’96 MS often credits Ohio State and the Midwest for boosting him into the stratosphere with his entrepreneurial ventures in the tech world. And once again, he’s paying forward by investing in Ohio State’s innovators and big thinkers.
5. Ties that bind: Seven decades of seamless giving
Since 1954, Dr. Fern E. Hunt’s commitment to paying forward has never wavered. The impetus for this unbreakable thread of gifts stems from a desire to do right and from a life uniquely interwoven with Ohio State.

Buckeye Paws therapy pups have snuggled their way into workspaces across Ohio State, offering comfort and unconditional affection to uplift our community.

For Dr. Kenneth Clemens, the last surviving founding member of President’s Club, it brings him joy to help others.

Partnerships between engineers and cancer researchers may seem unlikely to some, but at Ohio State such pairings are plentiful — and paying off for patients.

Wrestling is a symbol of resilience and strength in the face of hard things. It’s a sentiment that goes deep for Ohio State freshman wrestler Nic Bouzakis.
