Enriching firm friendships across our alumni and Buckeye communities

Astronomy and Physics Alumni Society - About

A group of people wearing matching red sports-themed clothing pose together on and around a bench with a large Brutus Buckeye statue in an indoor setting with stairs and railings in the background.

About

Astronomy and Physics careers can take us in many directions, making it easy to lose the connections we built in school. An alumni society offers opportunities to reconnect, build new professional relationships and stay engaged with our alma mater.

It also strengthens our alumni network so we can better support current students and recent grads — whether they’re pursuing industry roles or navigating the challenges of academia. The goal is to create a sustainable, long‑term community with accessible resources, rather than relying on a single staff member.

Make your impact today and get involved! For questions, contact astronomyandphysicsalumnisociety@osu.edu.

Ways to get involved:

  • join our events: meet fellow Buckeyes and build community
  • become a member: help us grow and make a difference. Sign up today!
  • support scholarships: your gift empowers students and future alumni to thrive
  • serve on a committee or on the Board of Directors
  • participate in service projects, student programming and professional development
  • keep in touch through the alumni association to get updates and opportunities
