Ways to join:
Anyone actively seeking university degrees awarded through the Departments of Astronomy and Physics are considered Student Members of the society.
All alumni who have been awarded a degree from either the Department of Astronomy or Physics and regularly attend events (two or more per year) are considered Active Members. Note that members of the Society Board of Governors must also be members of the alumni association.
All active members who have graduated in the last five years are eligible for Recent Graduate Membership and will not be responsible for paying any dues established by the board for active membership.
Non-alumni, who by their interest and activity have distinguished themselves by their work for the Society, may be entitled to honorary membership by special appointment of the Board.
Non-alumni who express an interest in membership in the Society may be granted associate membership in the Society.
