Black Alumni Society - Membership
Membership
Interested in being a more active Buckeye? We’re seeking all who are committed to our efforts and goals. You do not have to be a Columbus resident to pay it forward!
Options to become a member
We offer two ways to become a member:
If you simply want to join the Black Alumni Society, you can do so for a modest donation of $30 per year. This option is open to Ohio State alumni and qualifies you as an Alumni Donor Member with the Ohio State University Alumni Association.
Becoming an annual life donor member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association requires a yearly donation of $150 or $10/monthly (which makes alumni eligible for OSUAA football tickets and other great benefits). By allocating a yearly donation of $150 or more to the Black Alumni Society, you will get access to OSUAA benefits and BAS incentives. This option is open to only Ohio State alumni.
Special note: Serving Governing Board members are required to be active members of the Ohio State Alumni Association (Grandfathered Life, Alumni Donor or Life Donor).
If you simply want to join only the Black Alumni Society, you may do so for a modest donation of $30 or more per year (see Option 1).
*The OSUBAS membership year is January 1 – December 31. For $30, you are a member of OSUBAS & Alumni Donor Member of OSUAA; for 150+ annually, you are a member of OSUBAS and a life donor member of OSUAA, which makes you eligible for OSUAA benefits such as football tickets. All membership dues are tax deductible contributions to our OSUAA current use fund that makes programming available to area alumni. Dues can be paid at one time, or you can set up recurring payments.
