Greater Cleveland Alumni Club - Scholarship

Since 2011, we have awarded over $100,000 to these students!

Board members who serve on the Scholarship Committee say this is the most rewarding part of being involved in the Club — being able to meet these fine young people who will soon be Buckeyes! In August, we awarded scholarships to six Greater Cleveland students who will be attending Ohio State this fall.

The Ohio State Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland scholarship fund has been established through the hard work of our club members, the generosity of our donors and many Buckeye fans and alumni. In August, we awarded scholarships to six Greater Cleveland students who will be attending Ohio State this fall. Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:

• Graduate from a high school located in Cuyahoga County
• Be admitted and committed to attend Ohio State
• Record of participation in school, community, extracurricular activities, and academic merit
• Quality of answers to several essay questions.
• The top 20 candidates will be invited to a phone interview with our local scholarship committee
