Varsity O offers three membership options:
- Annual Membership – $100/year
- Varsity O Room Membership – $500/year
- Young Alumni Membership – $50/year
Each membership level includes a unique set of benefits. Visit the membership comparison above to determine which option is right for you.
Your membership directly supports Ohio State Athletics. Every membership contribution is split evenly:
- 50% supports the Varsity O Fund, which funds alumni engagement, programming, and services for former student-athletes.
- 50% is directed to the varsity sport in which you lettered, providing direct support to that program.
If you lettered in more than one sport, you may choose which sport receives your allocation.
The Young Alumni Membership is available exclusively to former student-athletes who earned their undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University within the past three (3) years (0–3 years post-graduation). This membership provides all Annual Membership benefits at a discounted rate of $50 per year.
Varsity O memberships follow a calendar year, running January 1 - December 31. Membership benefits apply only to the membership year for which dues have been paid and are not transferable to future membership years. Membership is tracked through The Ohio State University's alumni database, which operates on a calendar-year cycle. To maintain uninterrupted membership and continue receiving your benefits, we encourage all members to renew or make their annual gift by December 31 for the upcoming membership year.
Basic Members who completed a Life Membership payment prior to July 1, 2015 remain Life Members and are not required to pay annual membership dues. Life Members receive all Annual Membership benefits.
Welcome to Varsity O! Once your membership is processed, you'll automatically be added to our Varsity O email list and begin receiving exclusive member communications. Throughout the year, you'll receive invitations to Varsity O events and reunions, information about discounted ticket opportunities, networking and career resources, member-exclusive benefits, and the latest news and updates for former Ohio State student-athletes. Please allow a few business days for your membership to be reflected in our system and for communications to begin.
The Varsity O Room is an exclusive club-level space inside Ohio Stadium for former Ohio State student-athletes and up to two (2) guests on football game days. It is a comfortable, air-conditioned place to reconnect with fellow Buckeye alumni, enjoy pregame programming and cheer on the Buckeyes.
