Your Home on Football Game Days
For decades, the Varsity O Room has served as a gathering place for former Ohio State football student-athletes. Beginning this season, we're excited to expand that tradition. The Varsity O Room is now open to former Ohio State student-athletes from all varsity sports. Alumni who join Varsity O at the Varsity O Room Membership Level will receive access to this exclusive game day experience during Ohio State home football games.
Details
The Varsity O Room is an exclusive hospitality space inside Ohio Stadium reserved for former Ohio State student-athletes and their guests. Located on the Huntington Club Level, the room provides a comfortable, climate-controlled space where alumni can reconnect, network and celebrate their Buckeye pride before and during home football games. Inside the Varsity O Room, you'll enjoy:
- a dedicated gathering space exclusively for former Ohio State student-athletes
- opportunities to reconnect with teammates and alumni from every sport
- pre-game programming and special appearances throughout the season
- food and beverages available for purchase
- an air-conditioned space to relax before kickoff and throughout the game
Location and hours
- Huntington Club Level inside Ohio Stadium – take the elevators from Gate 7 to the Huntington Club Level to access the Varsity O Room. Open from stadium gate opening through the third quarter of each home football game.
Important information
- each Varsity O Room member and football alumni may bring up to two (2) guests only
- admission to the Varsity O Room is not a football game ticket. You must have a valid game ticket to enter Ohio Stadium
- capacity is limited, and access is available on a first-come, first-served basis for each home football game
- Football Alumni: Former Ohio State football alumni will continue to receive complimentary access to the Varsity O Room and are not required to purchase a Varsity O Room membership. However, all football alumni must have a Varsity O Room ticket for each game in order to gain entry.
Frequently asked questions
Former Ohio State student-athletes who are current Varsity O Room Members ($500) may access the room during home football games. Former football student-athletes will continue to receive access as part of their existing football alumni benefits. All attendees, including football alumni and guests, must have a valid Varsity O Room ticket to enter. No one will be admitted without a Varsity O Room ticket.
Yes. Your $500 Varsity O Room Membership provides access to the Varsity O Room for all Ohio State home football games during the current membership year. To continue receiving Varsity O Room access in future seasons, members must renew their $500 Varsity O Room Membership annually. At this time, single-game Varsity O Room access is not available. We hope to offer a single-game option in the future, but for now, access is exclusively available through the annual Varsity O Room Membership.
No. Access to the Varsity O Room does not include admission to Ohio Stadium or a football game ticket. A valid game ticket is required to enter the stadium.
Food and beverages are available for purchase inside the Varsity O Room throughout the day.
The Varsity O Room has a limited capacity and is available on a first-come, first-served basis each home football game. Attendance fluctuates throughout the day as guests come and go, so space may become available during the game.
No. The Varsity O Room does not have a direct line of sight to the field, but the game is streamed live on large TVs throughout the room, so you won't miss any of the action.
