Wood County Alumni Club - Membership
Membership
Membership to the Alumni Club of Wood County is not limited just to alumni. All Buckeye fans are welcome to join and be a part of the Club.
As a member, you will have the opportunity to:
- Pay Forward by supporting scholarships for local students attending Ohio State with tax-deductible membership dues.
- Be a part of the Wood County network of Ohio State alumni, former students, and supporters and receive communications about upcoming local events.
- Encourage and support outstanding, local high school seniors to choose The Ohio State University for their lifetime learning. The club works hard to raise money for our endowment by arranging game watches, raffles, and other fund-raising events to award scholarships to Wood County students.
- Make new connections and contacts with fellow Buckeyes.
- Enjoy game watches together at Shawn’s Irish Tavern, Waterville, OH. Click here for directions and information about Shawn’s. (10% off food purchases for club members during game watch!)
- Receive discounts from supporting vendors and our game watch hosts.
- Relive the excitement we had in Columbus on crisp fall day before a big game.
- Ability to serve on committees and coordinate social events.
- Contribute to the community through service events.
Four ways to join:
A one-year membership (July to July) in the Alumni Club of Wood County for your household and a yearly Alumni Donor Recognition Membership to The Ohio State University Alumni Association (OSUAA) for the member making the dues/donation payment.
- This option is for alumni of Ohio State and is achieved with a gift of $25 or more to the Alumni Club of Wood County’s support fund.
- The OSUAA membership is only available to the person making the donation. Club membership at this level is applicable to the whole household.
Yearly (July – July) Associate Membership of the Alumni Club of Wood County for your household.
- This option is for friends and fans of Ohio State and is achieved with a gift of $25 to our support fund.
A one-year membership in the Alumni Club of Wood County and a yearly Life Donor Recognition Membership to OSUAA for the member making the dues/donation payment.
- This option is for alumni of Ohio State and is achieved with a gift of $150 or $10/monthly to the Alumni Club of Wood County support fund.
- The OSUAA membership is only available to the person making the donation. Club membership at this level is available to the whole household.
A Magna Cumme Laude membership with a one time payment $500 provides lifetime membership in the Alumni Club of Wood County for your household and one year of Life Donor Recognition Membership to OSUAA for the member making the dues/donation payment.
- The OSUAA membership portion of this option is only available to alumni of Ohio State and is a one-year membership at the Life Donor level.
- The OSUAA membership portion is annual and only available to the person making the dues/donation payment who is an alum of Ohio State.
- Friends and fans of Ohio State can become lifetime members of the Alumni Club of Wood County at this level as well.
